Ray of Hope

For several years I have rarely fulfilled any of my New Year resolutions. This year I am happy to share with you all that I have managed to keep one of the many resolutions for the year 2011. Over the weekend, I bought a DSLR camera for myself with the help and guidance of a dear friend, Ashwini. The fact that I did keep one of the resolutions gives me a ray of hope that I might be able to keep some more in the months to come.

This is the first shot I took from my new camera. In the days to come I will flaunt my new camera and more clicks from the machine will follow.

Achappam to Celebrate the Year that Has Gone By

This is achappam, a Malyali snack, which one of my friends at office, Sheena, brought for me. Crunching on this slightly sweet and savoury snack is the best way to reminisce about the year gone by and plan for the coming year.

Hope all you will take the good that happened to you this year into the future and leave anything upsetting that 2010 brought into your lives.

Waiting For The Green Light To Start 2009!

At the threshold of the ending of 2008 and beginning of 2009, I wish that all fast drivers like me never encounter a longgggggg red signal. :-)
