A little rain and the insects come out to play. They literally live on the edge and make every moment count. I took this photograph after recent showers in the Indian capital. Eagerly awaiting the monsoon rains.
This dome adorns the terrace of my maternal uncle's (mama) house. On my last trip to Jaipur the sky had turned the perfect shade of blue to make this capture possible.
With my birthday just around the corner, this photograph holds a special meaning for me. Time to make the message (that I see here) the motto for the coming year. Bye to the old and usher in the new and better times with a splash of red!
My mother's surgery was successful. Thanks once again for all your prayers. Unfortunately, I did not get much time with my camera when I was in Jaipur. Maybe next time I'll be able to bring some clicks for you from the Pink City.
Here are two of my favourite photographs from my trip to Mussoorrie.
A few months ago, I had requested all of you to pray for my mother, who is fighting cancer. I would like to tell you that your prayers have worked and her operation was successful. She has crossed half the mark and now only three more chemo-therapies are left before she returns home.
As I get toasted in the heat of Jaipur, Rajasthan, I can't help but miss the wonderful evenings spent in Mussoorie just a couple of weeks ago. Here are some of my photos from that trip. Hope to bring some photographs from Jaipur next and then get back to pursuing my first love--Delhi.
Since the time I bought my camera, I have been trying to get the perfect shot of a honey bee on a flower. My aspirations were realized on my recent trip to Mussoorie. Hope all of you like this photograph as much as I love it.
Will bring more photographs from my trip in the days to come. This was the first outing my camera had out of Delhi!
