The turnout was not as large, colorful or exciting as one would have hoped. However, it is a start. This is the Queer Pride Parade at the Connaught Place. Nearly a hundred people had turned out for the event which had more photographers than participants. There was a significant number of foreigners and several college students among the parading crowd.

If i am right ..this parade is the second one taking place..a day to celebrate Stonehall via gay pride parade....and i completely agree with the first comment ...

am sure glad to see our progressive mind....i hope it would also help to abolish other social problems....as all said its a matter of freedom.....and this should go for all cases including women related issues.
