Anish Kapoor's Exhibition
I had the good fortune of attending the high-profile exhibition of selected work of world-renowned Anish Kapoor with a senior at office and good friend, Anuradha. The trip to the National Gallery of Modern Art began with a short film on Anish Kapoor and his work.
Then we saw the huge sprawl of his celebrated work. I was a bit sly and managed to click Anuradha and my reflection n one of Anish Kapoor's broken mirror work. For those who are in Delhi till February should make it a point of visit the exhibition.

National Gallery of Modern Art
Today, 18 May, is celebrated as International Museum Day all over the world since 1977. To mark the occasion, I have here a photo of the National Gallery of Modern Art. Over the past few months, the paintings by legends like Raja Ravi Verma, M.F. Husain, Amrita Sher-Gil, Tagore brothers- have been shifted to a new building. The new gallery has been designed keeping in mind the international design sensibilities.I'll admit I liked the old setting in Jaipur House better, since it had a very regal appeal. but as long as the arts are being promoted and showcased I am a happy Delhiite.
