Black and White Delight

Spotted this beautiful black and white bird near my house recently. Wish I had a better lens to capture this beauty.

A Bird's Eye View of the World

This beautiful migratory bird was perched on the top branch of a tree at the Delhi Zoo and was busy looking down upon the passers-by.

Narcissist Swan

A swan after my own heart. A totally narcissist bird, it kept looking at its reflection for a better part of 15 minutes that I was in front of the pond in the Delhi Zoo.

Birds

I could not resist myself from taking a photograph of this wooden toy I saw at Dilli Haat a few days ago. As the pendulum below moves, the birds on top bend to peck making a sound on the wooden platform.

Sparrows Return

I was overjoyed to spot sparrows in Delhi after almost 3 years. At one point in time these birds were very common in Delhi. As a child my grandmother used to make up stories to entertain me revolving around these little unconventionally beautiful species. Just to justify my excitement, I have put up 2 photos of the birds rather than the usual one that I post daily.
