Heavy Metal

Installation art went the heavy metal way at the Triveni Kala Sangam's Open Art Gallery.

The first installation was made using metal scrap and utensils like spoons, forks and ladles.

The one below, has been made using metal scraps. This one shows the Hindu God Krishna playing a flute.

Triveni Kala Sangam


This is the garden theatre at Triveni Kala Sangam. This is an ideal place to sit with friends and talk for hours. I like the green grass, the sandstone-chip covered steps and the over all ambiance of the place.

Triveni Kala Sangam: Installations, painting, sculptures

Installations, painting, and sculptures were on display at the Treveni Kala Sangam over the last week. Portrayal of various aspects of life in a city had been done using these three different art forms. The exhibit was powerful and considering that it was a work of upcoming artists, it was more so commendable.
