Once Upon A Time...

"Once upon a time...", is the way most of our childhood stories began. I present to you the challenge of telling me what time were these story-tellers talking about and which clock among these four do you think would be their favourite?

The Blue Mug

I was lucky enough to catch the play - The Blue Mug, at Kamani auditorium, yesterday. The brilliant ensemble of Ranvir Shorey, Rajat Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Sheeba Chadha, Munish Bhardwaj and Konkona Sen Sharma, portrayed six characters, who go down the memory-lane and re-collect incidents of their lives - some important and some irreverent. It was an evening well spent.

Story Time At Metro Station: RK Ashram

This is the inside of the Metro Station: RK Ashram. The corridors are decorated with illustrations of Panchatantra Tales. I appreciate the initiative as these stories are a part of my childhood and are being passed on the children of today, who are more into TV and computer games than reading and listening to bedtime stories.

Marathi Wedding

I am back... and here is the couple who kept me away from the blog for over 5 days. This is my best friend Kanchan and her husband Kshiteej just minutes after they were married. The celebration lasted 5 hectic and most enjoyable days ever.

And here I am with the bride after she changed into the saree her mother-in-law gifter her. :-)
