Circular Jogging Track - Talkatora Garden

Call me obsessed, but the onset of winter gets to me big time and I try and move about as much as I can before the chill freezes the spine. This is the circular inclined track that I clicked at the Talkatora Gardens. I saw a couple of people with their ears already covered with mufflers and some others wearing woolen vests. So it is finally coming here.

P.S: My axiom in life is "Exaggeration in an art of living". So going by view of the city, you might think that it is in the Everest (trust me I can describe the winter in minus degrees). But the fact is it is the best time of the yar to visit the Indian Capital.

I must say that you would not know you were in such a large city by looking at this picture. It looks more green than some jungles and is a welcome sight to those wandering in the deserts of the world. Look at the leaves. Beautiful. What is below the track? A place for lovers perhaps?

I love the green spaces of big cities. Very cold here now as well.

That must be a wonderful place to hag out. I haven't visited those gardens but they ought to be beautiful!
Is November colder than January? I was there for the 2nd time on the 1st month of the year and it was ok, not freezing... on the other hand August was suffocating, but I prefer that rather than cold! :-)

@ Abe: The garden serves as a morning jogging space for all age groups in the early morning, as the day proceeds it transforms into a lovers' point and at night it hosts wedding parties with lot of food, music and alcohol.

@ JM: Well it is not too cold... December would be the time when the mercury dips big time. October is the best time to visit Delhi.

i couldn't agree more... ironically, i just wrote a post some days back on the onset of winter too!!! i guess each delhiite feels this way about how gorgeously foggy yet cozy this city gets by november!!! it's the best feeling to be wrapped up in a giant coat and sip steaming black coffee from a cup that also serves the purpose of warming numb, frozen fingers :)... cheers!
