This is an Outside Broadcasting (OB) van. With General Elections just a month away, OB vans of several news channels can be spotted outside the headquarters of political parties, which are located in the central part of the city. This one I spotted outside the office of Communist Party of India (Marxist). Although there are several merits of a multi-party democracy, I think it confuses the ideologies of the voters since the politicians follow no specific ideology rather run behind just one goal --- FORMING THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT... Any thoughts?

yes very true. Politicians have no ideology. Recently came across an article where Interviewer, after getting confused with Maya's ideology" asked her "Madam, your party is leftist, right-ist, or centrist? What your party is basically?"

To which she replied, I must say honestly, "We are nothing but opportunist."

We have two parties here but could use another viable one. Both parties have lost their direction.

The political scenerio is becoming a big joke everyday every where.Meghalaya political scenerio is no better...we are all hoping the PR would rule for many many years so that we get a break from hearing empty words on our painful ears.
