Qutb Minar, Ruins
This is a what is left of the maze at the Qutb complex. Even after so many years of neglect, the gates still are awe-inspiring with their beauty and magnificence.
I always beleived history was much better in real than in the books....your picture proved it yet again....the world of history is amazing.... and i love it!!!! great capture priyanka.
Some of the most ancient structures leave modern masonry way behind. I am always amazed at how long these things stand, without mortar, and in many instances, thousands of years. Just imagine the activity that was taking place when the people built this gate.

The sky filtering through those ruins is lovely.
These ruins are so beautiful! Gladly the three arches are still standing. Very nice photo.

Beautiful! I have never seen Qutb complex, and visited most interesting places in the north when I was very young. I'd love to explore Delhi sometime.
