Bye To NLI

This is the most colorful part in my office, NLI. This is the corner of my desk, which I have decorated over a period of almost two years. Today, I say goodbye to the firm, where I spent two of the best years of my professional life so far. But I am sure I will continue to remain friends with the people I met here in this office. A big hurray to Amitabh, Yamini, Mili, Anjana, Charu, Richa, Biswarup, Pavan, Tanweer, Pallavi, Deepak and especially to Aditi, the kiddo. :-)

Thank you all for all the support, concern and friendship you have showered upon me. May we continue to be friends always. Will miss you all loads.

That's a real nice photo.. Your small world at NLI... and I do agree that this is the most colourful area in the entire building... This picture reflects colours of joys and happiness, positivity, and life.
Now for all those, who are not a part of NLI, let me tell you some things about the collectibles at the desk...
Those three cute angels were made by Priyanka and her little neighbour; those little Remember notes have some wonderful quotations and were coloured by Priyanka herself (with pencil crayons; she can be such a kiddo herself); those smileys are coasters from yahoo (gifted); the little laughing buddha has been given to me :-); the small desk calender is of hardly any use as it has wrong dates :-) but nonetheless it looks pretty; the pink leaf with a bunch of flowers is from me (actually i didn't have a desk at that time); that 'be nice i have a blog slogan' is Priyanka's way of threatening us to be nice with her always...; and last but not the least the brightest, beautiful, full of life orange flower is from ME..... Now to think of it, ill miss your desk more than YOU....:P... God bless you.. Wish you have a great time in your new office and I am sure you will create a small world of your own there as well and it would be as colourful and full of life as you are :-) Love you alwaysssss....

Dear Priyanka,

You made me very very emotional with that little goodbye post of yours.
I have enjoyed being in your company even more than you did in mine. Having you around has always been a delight and I just pray to the God that it remains so for the rest of our lives.
You have always been like a bratty little sister that I never had, so in a way, you have filled up a vacancy in my life and for that I am grateful to you.
Love to you always, take care, wherever you go, just remembers that I would just an email or a phone call away,

It’s that time of year again! I’m doing the rounds and apologising for my complete failure to more regularly offer comment on everybody’s incredible efforts for the year. I know how hard it can be to keep up with the daily grind of everyday posting, and want to thank you for your efforts.

I especially want to wish festive greetings for all from down here at [nearly] the end of the world, the bottom of Tasmania.

So, if you could delete whatever is not applicable, I’d like to wish you a very pleasant/merry/happy/wonderful/safe Amaterasu; Ashurall; Beiwe; Choimus; Christmas; Dazh Boh; Dongzhi; Goru; Hanukkah; Hogmanay; Junkanoo; Karachun; Koleda; Lenæa; Meán Geimhridh; Modranicht; New Years; Ras as-Sana; Rozhanitsa Feast; Şeva Zistanê; shōgatsu; Summer Solstice [if you're in the Southern Hemisphere]; Sviatki; Winter solstice [if you're in the Northern Hemisphere]; Yalda; Yule-tide; Ziemassvētki; and Коляда!

With a hearty three cheers from Kris, Jen, Henry and Ezra!
