Hey Lady! Not my cap.
This little fella thought I was after his cap, whereas all I wanted was to capture his innocence through my lens.

Portrait of a Lady
I saw this beautiful Kashmiri lady perched on one of the cemented low bridges at the Delhi Zoo. Soon after I clicked this photograph, she looked away. Before I proceeded, she looked at me again and gave me the sweetest smile ever. I wish I had captured that smile for you as well but I was too busy returning the smile.

Jaguar
The weather is Delhi is just right to go for a half-day long visit to the Delhi Zoo. I did exactly that yesterday. It is the perfect place to go shutter-crazy. Animals, birds, people... everyone is click- able.
This jaguar posed for me from behind its cage.
Will bring more photographs from my trip in the days to come.

India Gate
A view of India Gate from far away. This is one place I visit to be happy whenever my mood seems to be going south. As usual the place worked its magic earlier this week and this photograph is the prized possession I took of my happy place.
Which is your happy place?

Music in the Park: Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma & Ustad Zakir Hussain
Though I did not get the best of photographs yesterday, I still want to share some moments from yesterday with all of you. As the moon was rising, my friends and I had rushed from office to be a part of a soul stirring musical experience at Nehru Park.
As a part of the Music in the Park concerts organized by SPIC MACAY (Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth), santoor maestro Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma and the man who creates magic on the tabla, Ustad Zakir Hussain held the audience in rapture for a little more than 2 hours of continuous performance. The two legends came together to pay a tribute to the Late Pandit Bhimsen Joshi.
Here is a short video clip of the music I revelled in for nearly 2 hours.

Buddha at Bercos
This is the wall at the Chinese food joint Bercos in Connaught Place. I frequent this place a lot with my friends and family and this wall is one of my favourite things at the joint apart from the delicious food.

Tughlaqabad Fort
On Sunday, I went to Tughlaqabad Fort on a walk conducted by the India Habitat Centre. I really like the concept of the walk, where a Delhiite takes a group of walkers around a place in the city telling the group different things about the place, such as the history of the place, associated legends and myths and best spots for amazing views.
Will bring more photographs from the walk in the days to come.
